State gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) (IDX: PGAS) has appointed a new leadership team following its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSLB) on Wednesday, 27 August 2025. The meeting, held at PGN’s headquarters in Jakarta, focused on the approval of a new Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners.
Arief Kurnia Risdianto, formerly Risk Management Director, has been appointed as President Director, replacing Arief Setiawan Handoko.
Mirza Mahendra, who is currently the Director of Oil and Gas Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, has been appointed as Strategy & Business Development Director.
Rahmat Hutama is the only director to retain his position, continuing his role as Human Resources & Business Support Director.
The full lineup of the new Board of Directors includes:
• Arief Kurnia Risdianto: President Director
• Catur Dermawan: Finance Director
• Aldiansyah Idham: Commercial Director
• Mirza Mahendra: Strategy & Business Development Director
• Hery Murahmanta: Infrastructure & Technology Director
• Eri Surya Kelana: Risk Management Director
• Rachmat Hutama: Human Resources & Business Support Director

The Board of Commissioners also saw a fresh lineup, with the exception of Tony Setia Boedi Hoesodo, who remains as President Commissioner & Independent Commissioner. The new commissioners include:
• Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej
• Rambe Kamarulzaman
• Thanon Aria Dewangga
• Conny Lolyta Rumondor (Independent Commissioner)
• Widjono Hardjanto (Independent Commissioner)
Fajriyah Usman, Corporate Secretary of PGN, expressed appreciation for the contributions of the outgoing leadership team, recognizing their efforts in driving PGN’s performance.
“The newly appointed leadership will continue to build on PGN’s strong foundation, navigating the challenges of the energy sector while driving the development of integrated gas infrastructure and supporting Indonesia’s energy transition goals,” said Fajriyah.
