11. Drilling Superintendent
JOB ROLES
• Progress, prepare and deliver deep water Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) related engineering studies associated with all planned drilling, completion and well test/injectivity test activities during FEED phase. This to develop, MODU specifications, mooring/DP design and riser analysis, equipment interface plans, logistic plans, shipyard preparation scope, Blow out contingency plan and Emergency response plan, HSE studies, SIMOPS management, etc; Review and evaluate drilling, completion and well test/injectivity test engineering studies and plans, assess MODU impact and incorporate MODU specifics in operation procedure, HSE management plans and scope of works. In case any deviation from INPEX Corporate Standards and INPEX Indonesia Manuals is identified, prepare necessary documents e.g. Dispensation and Management of Change (MOC).
• Review and manage risk assessment and opportunity register for MODU specific items; In case any deviation from INPEX Corporate Standards and INPEX Indonesia Manuals is identified, prepare necessary documents e.g. Dispensation and Management of Change (MOC).
• Identify suitable MODU(s) for execution of the planned drilling, completion and well test/injectivity test activities; Conduct market survey, Prepare contract strategy and procurement plan for the MODU and direct associated services e.g. mooring, rig positioning, communication systems, etc.; Prepare and review technical functional specifications and scope of work for the MODU and direct associated services; Progress tender/procurement process for the MODU and direct associated services. Organize and conduct inspection visits on MODU candidates.
• Prepare MODU cost estimation for FID and IVAS DP4 and demonstrate competitiveness; Prepare work program and budget /AFEs to ensure required budget and plan for MODU related engineering studies and program; Progress regulatory compliance process to be able to obtain approval as per schedule.
• Provide support to other departments (i.e. Subsurface, SURF, HSE, Logistic); Develop and maintain coordination with external parties to ensure new technology, best practice and other related lesson learned can be applied in INPEX Indonesia drilling activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Science. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• Minimum 15 years Drilling Engineering and Operation experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with a minimum of 5 years rig site experience.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience as a supervisor e.g. Senior/Lead Engineer, Offshore Drilling Supervisor, Drilling Superintendent, Contractor Rig Manager/OIM/Tool Pusher.
• Experience with semisubmersible MODU’s and DP drill ships, including completion operations is a pre-requisite.
12. Engineer Drilling
JOB ROLES
• Progress detail drilling design engineering studies (casing design, drilling string design including drill bit and down hole tools selections, torque & drag and hydraulics calculations, drilling mud design, cementing design, drilling rig selection etc.); Optimize drilling design to be deliver on time, effectively and efficiently with low HSE risks; Conduct, review and evaluate required engineering studies for drilling design that includes draft drilling program, operation procedure and HSE management plans.
• Review risk assessment and opportunity register of drilling engineering; Check drilling design has no deviation from INPEX Corporate standards and INPEX Indonesia manuals and policies and Indonesia regulatory requirement.
• Identify required drilling equipment, service and LLI (Long Lead Item); Prepare contract strategy and procurement plan for drilling equipment and services; Prepare and review technical functional specifications and scope of work of equipment and services; Progress tender/procurement process for drilling equipment and services.
• Prepare updated drilling duration and cost estimation for FID and IVAS DP4 and demonstrate competitiveness; Prepare work program and budget/AFEs to ensure required budget and plan for drilling engineering studies and program; Progress regulatory compliance process to be able to obtain approval as per schedule.
• Provide engineering support to other departments (i.e. Subsurface, SURF, HSE, Logistic); Develop and maintain coordination with external party to ensure new technology, best practice and other related lesson learned can be applied in INPEX Indonesia drilling activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Science. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• Minimum 6 years with Drilling Engineering and Operation experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
13. Senior Well Test Engineer
JOB ROLES
• Progress and review well test (high-rate well flow back) and injectivity test detailed engineering studies (surface well test package design, ESD/safety system design, flare and heat modelling, MODU interface, subsea interface, surface sampling, etc.); Optimize well test/injectivity test design to be delivered on time, effectively and efficiently with low HSE risks; Conduct, review and evaluate required engineering studies for well test/injectivity test design that includes draft well test/injectivity test program, operation procedure and HSE management plans.
• Coach, monitor, and review risk assessment and opportunity register of completion engineering; Check well test/injectivity test design has no deviation from INPEX Corporate standards and INPEX Indonesia manuals and policies and Indonesia regulatory requirement.
• Review and identify required well test/injectivity test equipment, service and LLI (Long Lead Item); Prepare contract strategy and procurement plan for completion equipment and services; Prepare and review technical functional specifications and scope of work of equipment and services; Progress tender/procurement process for completion equipment and services.
• Review and prepare updated well test/injectivity test duration and cost estimation for FID and IVAS DP4 and demonstrate competitiveness; Prepare work program and budget /AFEs to ensure required budget and plan for completion engineering studies and program; Progress regulatory compliance process to be able to obtain approval as per schedule.
• Provide engineering support to other departments (i.e. Subsurface, SURF, HSE); Develop and maintain coordination with external party to ensure new technology, best practice and other related lesson learned can be applied in INPEX Indonesia drilling and completion activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Science. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• Minimum 12 years Well test Engineering and Operation experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience as well test supervisor.
• Well test design and operational experience for offshore MODU’s is a pre-requisite.
14. Engineering & Supplies Coordination Long Lead Item Engineer (GEPS)
JOB ROLES
• Responsible for identification of LLIs for GEP and subsea equipment
• Responsible for preparation of LLIs procurement strategy for GEP and subsea equipment and related EPC tender documents
• Provide advance professional expertise to evaluation of EPC proposals
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Science. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• Minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas Industry. Project experience in LNG facilities is required.
15. Project Specialist (GEPS)
JOB ROLES
• Provide expertise in developing strategy, project plan, target and Detailed GEP Project Engineering; Provide technical inputs and conduct technical evaluation for tenders related to GEP development project to ensure GEP Project Engineering project plan, target and strategy are in-place.
• Monitor, review and analyze GEP Project Engineering & Construction risk management process; Analyze, evaluate and recommend technical interface and integrity risk assessment with pay attention on safety and environment rules and regulations, effective and efficient process, and other engineering standards in order to ensure GEP project engineering progress achieve the target, risks are controlled properly and minimize unpredictable technical risks.
• Provide input EPCI ITT and tender documents, provide project engineering technical and evaluation input for EPCI tender proposal, in order to select the appropriate contractors. Submitted by prospective contractors/ vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Technical Science. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• Minimum 10 years in the Oil & Gas Industry. Project experience in LNG facilities is required.

16. Engineering & Supplies Coordination Long Lead Item Engineer (FPSO)
JOB ROLES
• Coordinating with the FEED Consortium resident Company Teams, develop strategies to progress the LLI Procurement for the latter stages of FEED through to EPCI start. This includes forms of procurement whether lump sum, open book, other forms of reimbursement and combination of such;
• Compile, present and seek feedback and endorsement from the Project Management Manager and FPSO Senior Manager in relation to the LLI Procurement Strategy(ies) as identified in item #1 above;
• Support Resident Company Team and Contractor in the development of identified LLI tender documents including TBE’s and CBE’s during the period post-FEED;
• 4. Provide overall procurement guidance and support to Company Resident Teams throughout FEED in relation to the Contractor Procurement Plans for LLI items, other equipment procurement and bulk item procurement;
• 5. Provide independent benchmarking of Contractor stated lead-times for procured items including bulks to sense-check Contractor EPCI schedule to meet required-on-site (ROS) dates or where required for engineering data input for design (or other procurement) activities;
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Economics or Technical Science.
• Minimum 10 years in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry. Project experience in procurement of offshore facilities is required.
17. Project Specialist (FPSO)
JOB ROLES
• Assist with preparation and follow-up of discussions with key stakeholders including SKK Migas, develop strategies to enable the potential use of overseas Integration Yard. Assist with preparation and follow-up of discussions with internal parties and government offices to work towards agreement related to local content should the Integration Yard scope be moved to an overseas location;
• Assist and support the Engineering & Supplies Coordination Long Lead Item Engineer with their activities;
• Assist and support the Project Management Manager with their activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Economics or Technical Science.
• Minimum 10 years in the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry. Project experience in procurement of offshore facilities is required.
18. Senior Engineer Mooring Systems
JOB ROLES
• Monitor and review mooring system and technology best practices and improvement around the world and provide recommendations and advance knowledge in selecting/screening the most effective and efficient mooring design in Masela block; develop Mooring System plan based on deep analysis, engineering principles and philosophy, strategy and engineering standards;
• In coordination with internal team, monitor, review and evaluate Consultants/Contractors’ works related to Mooring System FEED including interface and integration, Mooring System engineering aspects, HSSE requirements, economic and financial perspectives, and other matters in developing Mooring System project strategic plan on Masela block; provide recommendations and technical input on Mooring System engineering design submitted by Consultants/Contractors; in order to ensure Mooring System FEED meet engineering philosophy, engineering standards, HSSE requirements, best practices, and the implemented technology match to the Masela block characteristics;
• Review, monitor, conduct and evaluate risk assessment on developed Mooring System FEED including Mooring System engineering risks possibilities of any change and/or deviation of elements, specification, process, system, and others that are proposed by related Parties, monitor and review Company MOC availability and develop Company MOC policy and procedures if necessary; in order to minimize/mitigate unpredictable risks, and any change and/or deviation of Mooring System design and engineering comply with Company policy and procedures, meet HSSE requirements and standards and engineering principles;
• In coordination with other Group, provide advanced expertise and knowledge to select Mooring System study, its methods, and conduct specific studies and researches previous and after FEED including technical interface and technical integration for Masela block.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in Ocean Engineering, Naval Architect, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/ Structural Engineering or any other relevant Faculty. Advanced degree in the above is preferable.
• A minimum of 10 years of working experiences. FPSO and/ or FLNG project exposure is preferred.
19. Mechanical Superintendent (Static & Piping) (FPSO)
JOB ROLES
• Control and Monitor FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping project plan, strategy and target; Evaluate FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping strategic plan, detailed design and detailed project plan and target according to knowledge, best practices and engineering principles for FEED phase as guideline; Coordinate FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping engineering project schedule interface and integration to other Groups and Departments, in order to ensure availability of integrated FPSO mechanical engineering project plan;
• Review, Monitor, and update FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping engineering capital expenditures (CAPEX) and project schedule as an input in annual budget and authorization for expenditures (AFE) to be submitted to SKK Migas; to ensure complete and accurate FPSO mechanical static & piping engineering CAPEX and project schedule submission;
• Lead the team to provide technical aspects inputs and technical aspects evaluation in project tenders related to FPSO development especially in Mechanical Static & Piping Engineering; Lead the team to Provide technical advice related to FPSO project contract preparation and evaluate terms and conditions;
• Lead the team to review and monitor the Contractor’s works in executing FPSO development project especially in Mechanical Static & Piping Engineering with respect to detailed engineering design, data input, and information; Lead the the team to review, and monitor Contractor’s deliverables and submit the evaluation result to the Contractor; Manage and communicate FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping Engineering interface with other FPSO Group, SURF, and HSSE as well as FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping interface data and development status, in order to ensure FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping Engineering execution achieve the target and meet determined quality and standards;
• Lead the team to monitor and review FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping procurement, working progress, quality and standards; Lead the team Solve any issues and problems, in order to achieve the target and meet determined quality and standards;
• Lead the team to monitor and evaluate FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping engineering/technical aspects on any change and/or deviation of elements, specification, process, system, and others that are proposed/occurred in all phases of project, implementation of Company MOC policy and procedures; in order to ensure any change and/or deviation for FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping meet engineering principles and comply with Company policy and procedures;
• Lead the team to provide expertise input for risk assessment in engaging with FPSO Contractors/Vendors, conduct manufacturing facilities visit to gather information that support detailed FPSO Mechanical Static & Piping engineering and preparation, and to obtain feedback on manufacturing limitations, testing, lead times, IMR, etc. for input into EPCI project phases related to FPSO mechanical engineering;
• Lead the team to monitor and control in setting up plans and/or procedures related to the operations and/or integrity management for rotating equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Technical Science; Tertiary degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferable.
• A minimum of 13 years of working experiences. FPSO and/ or FLNG project experiences are preferred.
20. Senior Engineer Rotating Equipment (FPSO)
JOB ROLES
• Provide technical aspects inputs and technical aspects evaluation in project tenders related to FPSO development especially in Rotating Equipment Engineering, provide technical advice related to FPSO project contract preparation and evaluate terms and conditions;
• Review and monitor the Contractor’s works in executing FPSO development project especially in Rotating Equipment engineering with respect to detailed engineering design, data input, and information; Review, and monitor Contractor’s deliverables and submit the evaluation result to the Contractor;
