According to data compiled by Petromindo from Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MODI ESDM), SKP refers to PT Sinar Karyagamma Primatama, which holds a 3,596-hectare concession in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi. The company is 90 percent owned by PT Eco Energi Indonesia, with the remaining 10 percent held by Zeb Nicho Chayadi.
“Indonesia remains at the heart of our global nickel strategy, and securing upstream resources is essential to reinforce our smelting and battery material operations,” said CNGR Chairman Zhong Weiqiang in the report released Sunday (August 17).
The planned acquisition highlights CNGR’s continued expansion in Indonesia, where the company already owns and operates several nickel processing assets, including PT Nadesico Nickel Industry and PT Debonair Nickel Indonesia.
