Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC) has secured an EPC contract for the 1800tpd Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Generation Project in Tangerang, Banten Province, valued at 1.55 billion RMB (approximately US$217 million). This information was shared by Wang Zhen, Joint Company Secretary, on Friday, 28 March. However, MCC did not disclose the timeline of the project.
As Petromindo.com reported before, MCC also has another contract currently in development, including the EPC contract for the 2×120,000 tons per year alumina plant with PT Green Indonesia Alumina (GIA). The contract, valued at 4.07 billion RMB (approximately $555 million), will significantly boost Indonesia’s alumina production capacity.

MCC expanded its footprint in Indonesia's nickel sector with the OBI Nickel Ferronickel Project (RKEF Phase II). Valued at 520 million RMB (around $72.8 million), this project will increase nickel production, essential for electric vehicle battery manufacturing.
Finally, MCC has signed a contract for the desulfurization and denitrification of a power generation facility for Tsingshan Stainless Steel Co. in Indonesia, valued at 310 million RMB (approximately $43.4 million). This environmentally focused project will help reduce sulfur and nitrogen emissions from the power plant.
