PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM), a subsidiary of mining contractor PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA), has officially been appointed as the main contractor for the nickel mining project owned by PT Kembar Emas Sultra (KES) in Konawe Utara, Southeast Sulawesi. The contract, which spans five years, is set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025 with an annual production target of 8 million tons of ore.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract.
Under the contract, AMM will oversee all operational stages, including mine infrastructure development, waste removal, ore extraction, stockpile management, and transportation to the shipping facilities. In addition to its technical expertise, AMM is committed to creating positive impacts on the local community by empowering the local workforce and implementing sustainable, responsible community development programs.
