NATIONAL GOVERNMENT RELATION & PERMITTING SPECIALIST

(CODE : NGRPS/III/25)

(Location: Jakarta Office)

DUTIES:

• Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials at the national level and other relevant agencies to support the smooth operation and growth of the company;

• Manage complex licensing processes, including ensuring that all required permits are issued on time, in compliance with applicable regulations, and support the smooth execution of the company’s projects;

• Ensure that the company complies with all applicable regulations and legislative requirements in the relevant industry;

• Provide advice and recommendations to management on government policies that impact the company;

• Identify and influence public policies that may affect the company. Play an active role in the policy-making process by collaborating with the government, legislative bodies, and other stakeholders;

• Develop and implement effective communication and lobbying strategies to advocate for the company’s interests before government agencies and regulatory bodies;

• Prepare regular reports on developments in policies and licensing, and provide impact analysis on potential effects on the company’s operations and strategies;

• Any other duties may be assigned.

 REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field;

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in government relations, permit management, or regulatory compliance. Experience in the mining sector is preferred;

3. In-depth understanding of the permitting process and government regulations, with the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic systems;

4. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with experience in interacting with government officials and other stakeholders;

5. Able to analyse complex issues related to government policies and provide strategic solutions that support the company’s objectives;

6. Able to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and deadlines;

7. Able to demonstrate awareness of corporate safety and environmental practices.
