PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining, and processing at the Martabe Gold Mine in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra. PTAR is headquartered in Jakarta and employs over 3,000 workers as of 2024, with more than 99% being Indonesian citizens and over 70% recruited locally. Committed to safe, sustainable operations, PTAR prioritises minimising environmental impact while delivering long-term benefits to local stakeholders.

The Martabe Gold Mine, located in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, operates across 646.08 hectares as of December 2024. Since production began on 24 July 2012, the mine has processed over 6 million tonnes of ore annually, producing more than 200,000 ounces of gold and 1–2 million ounces of silver annually.

The Martabe Gold Mine operates under a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) with the Indonesian Government. Initially spanning 6,560 km² in 1997, the concession area has been refined to 130,252 hectares (1,303 km²), encompassing South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies.

As of June 2024, the mine’s mineral resources were estimated at 6.1 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver, while ore reserves were calculated at 3.2 million ounces of gold and 32 million ounces of silver.

Exploration constitutes a vital aspect of PTAR’s operations, focusing on expanding known resources and identifying new deposits in accordance with our contractual commitments. Oversight of the diamond drilling contract is managed by the Exploration Department.

PTAR hereby invites a single, highly experienced contractor to participate in a tender for Transport and Logistics Services. The required scope of services includes, but is not limited to, the following:

General Requirement

Domestic Feeder Vessel Services

Shipping of containerized freight (including DG and B3 waste) between Jakarta and Sibolga.

Indonesian Custom Clearance & Domestic Consolidation

a. Inbound and outbound cargo customs clearance services in Jakarta and Medan.

b. Freight consolidation services in Jakarta and Medan.

Transportation & Logistics Services

a. Management and operation of PTAR’s Sibolga Port Yard.

b. Road freight for all cargo to/from site, including DG and B3 waste.

c. Domestic air freight services to/from Jakarta and Medan.

d. International air and sea freight services to/from Jakarta and Medan.

Freight Consolidation and Logistics (Australia)

a. Origin transport collection and consolidation in Perth and Brisbane.

b. Ocean freight (CIF/CNF) from Brisbane and Fremantle to Jakarta.

c. Air freight services from Australia.

Interested contractors must have a proven track record of delivering similar services in mining operations for a minimum of five (5) years, preferably within the gold mining sector.
