IDX-listed coal trading firm PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (IDX: SGER) reported net revenues of Rp14.76 trillion for the year ending December 31, 2024, a 20% increase from Rp12.31 trillion in 2023.
Despite this top-line growth, gross profit slightly declined to Rp1.03 trillion, compared to Rp1.06 trillion in the previous year. The narrowing margin is attributed to a rise in cost of revenues, which reached Rp13.73 trillion, reflecting higher procurement costs and logistics expenses.

Net profit attributable to owners of the parent stood at Rp658.70 billion, down from Rp687.95 billion in 2023. The company also recorded a total comprehensive income of Rp695.02 billion, up from Rp684.04 billion the year prior, helped by a positive foreign currency translation effect of Rp34.56 billion.
