Ruixi Intelligence, a Chinese high-tech enterprise specializing in digital energy and industrial transformation solutions, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with First Resources Group to jointly develop clean energy and green infrastructure projects in Indonesia. The collaboration includes the development of up to 5 gigawatts (GW) of solar power capacity along with large-scale energy storage facilities and digital energy systems.
The agreement was signed in March, based on information received by Petromindo.com on Thursday (April 3). The signing ceremony took place in Jakarta, with Ruixi International Founding Partner Ye Guangtao and First Resources Co-founder Dudy Christian representing both parties.
First Resources Group is a Singapore-listed conglomerate with long-standing operations in Indonesia. Through subsidiaries such as Environmate Technology International, PT Dutamas Abadi Investima, and PT Butonas Petrokimia Energi, the group has developed major energy infrastructure projects in partnership with Indonesian state-owned firms PLN and Pertamina.

The strategic cooperation will span several key areas. In renewables, the partners will jointly pursue 5GW of solar PV development, establish battery storage systems, and build a battery assembly plant. In the digital sector, both sides will deploy AI-powered energy and industrial park platforms to promote smart grid management and energy efficiency.
In the low-carbon fuels domain, the collaboration will cover LNG storage and transportation, methanol production from gas, coal, and biomass, as well as methanol-to-dimethyl ether (DME) conversion. The green economy component will include initiatives in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), carbon credit projects, and bioethanol production from palm oil and sugarcane.
Ruixi Intelligence estimates that the total investment across these initiatives could reach several billion US dollars. The company will provide integrated technical and financial services, including digital energy system design, supplier partnerships, project structuring, and fundraising.
Both companies aim to establish a long-term partnership under a “technology empowerment + product synergy + capital cooperation” model, with the goal of supporting Indonesia’s clean energy transition and digital industrial modernization.
