Mining contractor PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) has allocated Rp 5 trillion for capital expenditure in 2025. PPA’s President Director, Joko Triraharjo, revealed that this year’s capital expenditure has more than doubled compared to last year, which was approximately Rp 2 trillion in 2024.
Joko explained that the increase in capital expenditure for 2025 aims to support the target production of overburden removal, rising from 336 million BCM to 423 million BCM this year.
“This year, we plan to add about 90 million BCM, which will come from both existing and new customers,” Joko said during an interview with Petromindo.com on Tuesday (February 11), on the sidelines of a business gathering hosted by the Indonesian Mining Services Association (ASPINDO).

Joko also mentioned that a significant portion of the capital expenditure will be allocated for the procurement of heavy equipment, including Komatsu 785 and CAT 777 units, with details on additional equipment yet to be disclosed.
