MME targets flat output in 2025

 PT Manambang Muara Enim (MME), a coal producer operating in Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, has set a coal production target of 2.8 million tons for 2025, maintaining the same level as its 2024 output.

“The production target in 2025 is 2.8 million tons, and the realized production in 2024 was also 2.8 million tons,” said Haryanto Damanik, President Director of MME, in an interview with Petromindo.com on Thursday.

MME mines coal with a calorific value of 4,700 kcal/kg (GAR) and holds reserves of 140 million tons. Its coal is primarily exported to China, India, Southeast Asia, and South Korea. Domestically, MME supplies significant volumes to power plants, including 170,000 tons to PLTU Lontar & Lontar Extension and 500,000 tons to PLTU Jawa 7. (tri subhki)
