Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has announced the temporary closure of its Minerba One Data Indonesia (MODI) application, effective September 1, 2025, as it transitions to a new integrated digital system called MinerbaOne.

This move aims to enhance licensing, supervision, and guidance services within the mineral and coal sub-sector.

According to a circular letter (No. 1.E/MB.01/DJB.S/2025) issued by the Director General of Mineral and Coal, Tri Winarno, the MODI application will be inaccessible for services such as account registration and modification, as well as the recording of permits, directors/commissioners, and share ownership.

The ministry anticipates reopening these services on the MinerbaOne application by the third week of September 2025, accessible via https://minerbaone.esdm.go.id.

The ministry stated that the phased migration to the integrated digital system is part of its commitment to improving electronic services.

Further details regarding the implementation and use of the MinerbaOne application will be disseminated through upcoming socialization sessions.

Businesses requiring these services are advised to adjust their plans according to the announced schedule.
