IDX-listed upstream services firm PT Elnusa Tbk (IDX: ELSA) announced Friday it had on 25 March completed a series of exploration operations for the 3D seismic survey in the Kepuh area of PT Pertamina EP Zone 7. This was completed 6 months ahead of the target specified in the work contract.
The company said in a statement that the Kepuh 3D seismic survey project, which spans one regency, 19 districts, and 66 villages with 80% of the area being farmland and ponds and 20% residential, achieved a 100% completion rate with a work volume of 501 KM2, 25,356 shooting points, and recorded 1,759,900 safe working hours without any social issues. Additionally, the project achieved Zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI), demonstrating the company's commitment to HSSE aspects as per existing procedures.
The Acting Director of PT Pertamina Java Region, Ibnu Suhartanto, expressed gratitude for the successful completion of the seismic survey activities with satisfying results, "I extend my highest appreciation to all teams involved in the Kepuh 3D seismic survey activity. I also extend my utmost thanks to all stakeholders who supported this activity, ensuring its safe and smooth operation. May our work contribute significantly to the country by discovering oil and gas reserves in the future," said Ibnu.

Meanwhile, Elnusa's Director of Operations, Endro Hartanto, reiterated Elnusa's strong commitment to supporting the government's efforts to achieve the 1 million BOPD oil output target by 2030. "We are grateful to have achieved 100% in this project, with no work accidents and no significant social issues. This not only demonstrates Elnusa's professionalism but also our commitment to safety and environmental sustainability," said Endro.
Endro added, "The close collaboration between Elnusa and Pertamina EP has expedited the completion of this project, surpassing the targets set in the contract. Thus, this outcome is also tangible proof of the synergy between companies in the Pertamina Upstream Subholding in achieving common goals," Endro concluded.
With the completion of the Kepuh 3D Seismic Survey Project, Elnusa, which is a subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, is ready to accelerate resource allocation optimization and pave the way for sustainable economic and environmental development initiatives.
