Capitalizing on the high price momentum
Although global coal prices showed a downward trend in recent months, the government of Indonesia sets higher coal output target in 2023 of 695 million tons or 4.82 percent higher than the initial 2022 target of 663 million tons. Coal remains one of the major state revenue contributors in which 80 percent of royalty from the mineral and coal sector was contributed by coal.
