PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) specialises in gold and silver exploration, mining and processing within the Martabe Gold Mine. Our operational area is situated in Province of North Sumatra, with overall management functions based in Jakarta.

The Martabe Gold Mine, situated in South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, spans 657 hectares per December 2023 and commenced production on July 24, 2012. It boasts an annual capacity exceeding 6 million tonnes of ore, resulting in an annual output of over 200,000 ounces of gold and 1-2 million ounces of silver.

All of the operation activity is governed by a 30-year Contract of Work (CoW) in collaboration with the Government of Indonesia, the mining area has evolved from the original 6,560 km2 in 1997 to its present refinement of 130,252 hectares (1,303 km2), encompassing the South Tapanuli, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli and Mandailing Natal Regencies. As of June 2023, the mineral resources totalled 6.2 million ounces of gold and 59 million ounces of silver.

Martabe Gold Mine is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Facility & Services team in order to enhance its capabilities and support the achievement of departmental objectives.

SUPERVISOR – WATER SEWAGE WASTE (FS 2505031)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in the Facility & Services Department and will report directly to the Senior Supervisor – Building Maintenance.

The Supervisor - Water Sewage Waste is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure wastewater quality meets established standards. Effective management of the plant is critical to maintaining the company’s reputation and ensuring compliance with the operational license. The successful operation of the Sewage Treatment Plant directly contributes to the company’s ability to uphold its license to operate, making this role essential to the organization’s ongoing success

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

1. Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or other related environmental disciplines.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating Sewage Treatment Plants and Water Treatment Plants as a Supervisor.

3. In-depth knowledge of Sewage Treatment Plant and Water Treatment Plant operations and associated technologies.

4. Possession of a POPPAL Certificate.

5. Preferred knowledge of piping systems, pump operation, and design.

6. Preferred understanding of water and wastewater sampling and analysis.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet applications.

8. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

9. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive working environment.

10. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

11. High ethical standards.

12. Valid Driving License (Class A).
