PT. Archi Indonesia, Tbk is an Indonesian based pure gold mining company, with a focus on gold in Indonesia, with the head quarter in Jakarta. Our subsidiaries in Manado - North Sulawesi,  PT. Meares Soputan Mining (MSM) and PT. Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (TTN) at Tokatindung Project Site – are currently seeking below professional in order to support our seamless operation:

UG GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER (CODE : UGE-I/25)

(Location: Toka Tindung Site)

Duties :

• Conduct geotechnical investigations to determine the rock-mass, geological structures, and groundwater levels;

• Analyse subsurface conditions to design underground infrastructures like tunnels, fix facilities and shafts;

• Provide geotechnical assessment with recommendations to improve the efficiency and safety of mining operations;

• Develop models for ground conditions and predict the impact on surrounding tunnels;

• Perform risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies and identify potential geotechnical hazards such as ground deformation, fall of ground, potential inrush, pillar issue and poor ground conditions;

• Develop and design appropriate support systems for excavation to achieve optimum safety factor;

• Monitor ground movement and evaluate the support system to ensure stability;

• Prepare and maintain geotechnical reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle;

• Troubleshoot unforeseen ground conditions and adjust designs or strategy as necessary;

• Collaborate with operations team and any related stakeholders to achieve desirable design;

• Conduct sharing of ground awareness and ground support system to the operations team periodically;

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Geological or Mining Engineering;

2. Several years of experience working in geotechnical engineering, particularly in underground mining, experience mining underneath poor ground and long-hole stoping;

3. Experience with geotechnical investigation techniques, data interpretation, and rock testing methods;

4. POP certified;

5. Familiar with LiDAR monitoring system is a complimentary;

6. Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., Leapfrog, Rocscience, Phase 2) for modelling and analysis;

7. Understanding of rock mechanics, underground mining methods, and backfill systems;

8. Familiar with methods for ground improvement and stabilization;

9. Knowledge of materials used in underground construction, including concrete, rock bolts, and shotcrete;

10. Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with project teams;

11. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and ground conditions;

12. Possess a driver’s license (SIM A);

13. Able to demonstrate awareness of company safety and environment.
