PAITON II POWER STATION REQUIRE A PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE

Under Indonesia’s private power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and maintains this 2 x 610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.

We currently have vacancy for:

MAINTENANCE FITTER

The Maintenance Fitter is part of the maintenance team to undertake PM and corrective maintenance, especially on rotating equipment like large capacity Fans & Pumps under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor.

Candidates for this position should possess minimum qualifications and competencies as follows:

1. Minimum Senior High School (SMK or SMU).

2. Maximum age 40 years old this year.

3. Minimum 10 (Ten) years experiences in maintenance of coal fired power plant.

4. Involved in overhauling and repairing of major equipment.

5. Familiar / having experience with alignment tools (preferable laser alignment) and measurement tools.

6. Familiar with trouble shooting of gear box, pumps and valves

7. Familiar with bearing inspection.

8. Have competency for rigging and slinging.

9. A sound knowledge of the safety rules particularly in coal fired power plant.

10. Self-motivated, good physical condition and strength with willingness to hard work.

11. Able to read and speak basics English will be preferable.
