Our client in Kuwait is seeking NDT Manpower for the following position:

1. Quality Control Engineer (Corrosion)

Minimum qualification and experience requirements for Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion shall be as follows:

1. Engineering/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Production, Civil, Fabrication or equivalent with relevant refinery experience preferably with post-graduation or industrial training in Metallurgy.

2. 5 years of work experience in a large refinery/petrochemical/ fertilizer industry out of which minimum 4 years should be in in-service inspection.

3. Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion shall be capable to handle basic functions including, but not limited to the following:

• Studies, monitors, and reports on environmental conditions in the Refinery that cause the deterioration of metal by corrosion or a combination of corrosion and other adverse factors and recommend solutions.

• Coordinates corrosion control activities with Operations, Maintenance/Engineering and Consultants representatives.

• Shall be conversant with latest API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, NACE codes/ standards.

• Experience in RBI methodology is preferred.

4. Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion having applicable experience more than 9 years out of which minimum 7 years in refinery may be considered as Quality Control Engineer A (Corrosion) based on performance.

5. Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion having applicable experience more than 7 years out of which minimum 5 years in refinery may be considered as Quality Control Engineer B (Corrosion) based on performance.

6. Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion having applicable experience more than 05 Years shall be considered as Quality Control Engineer C (Corrosion).

2. Quality Control Engineer (Inspection)

Minimum qualification and experience requirements for Quality Control Engineer/Inspection shall be as follows:

1. Engineering/B.Sc. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Production, Civil, Fabrication or equivalent with relevant refinery experience.

2. 5 years of work experience in a large refinery/petrochemical/fertilizer industry out of which minimum 4 years should be in in-service inspection.

3. Quality Control Engineer/Inspection shall be capable to handle basic functions including, but not limited to the following: -

• Inspects fired/unfired pressure equipment in Refinery, including steam rising plant, oil heaters, columns, vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems and storage tanks.

• Calculates permissible working pressure of equipment and reports findings.

• Prepares inspection worklists for plant turnarounds and coordinates these functions with Engineering Maintenance, Operations and Consultant's representatives.

• Inspects critical equipment at suppliers' works as directed.

• Conversant with nondestructive testing methods.

• Conversant with latest API, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, TEMA, NACE codes / standards.

• Experience in RBI methodology is preferred.

4. Quality Control Engineer (Inspection) having applicable experience more than 9 years out of which minimum 7 years in refinery may be considered as Quality Control Engineer A (Inspection) based on performance.

5. Quality Control Engineer/Inspection having applicable experience more than 7 years out of which minimum 5 years in refinery may be considered as Quality Control Engineer B (Inspection) based on performance.

6. Quality Control Engineer/Inspection having applicable experience more than 05 years shall be considered as Quality Control Engineer C (Inspection).

3. CP Electrician

Responsible for measurement of readings and maintenance of various Cathodic Protection (CP) equipment, preparation of CP maintenance procedure, data entry, site survey, reports preparation, updating the CP drawings and up to date record keeping of CP maintenance survey for modification and operation of CP test instruments including analysis of the survey data and rectifying any deficiency.

1. Performs Cathodic Protection site survey, installation, testing commissioning, and monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Provide assistance in the interpretation of the survey results, comments, and remedial action in coordination with CP Foreman.

2. Performs site testing and record keeping, including soil resistivity survey, spark testing, continuity testing, testing of negative and positive connections, reference electrode functionality tests, anode to cathode/anode to anode isolation testing, CAD welding, cable routes identification, etc.

3. He must be capable of working on individual capacity and teamwork. Familiar with industrial safety regulations and work procedures including risk assessment and hazard identification, aware of Oil & Gas sector hazardous materials and the company safe work practices.

4. Min 3years' experience in disciplinary Cathodic Protection/electrical maintenance work.

5. ITI in electrical or Equivalent. Preference will be given to Diploma holders in electrical or Equivalent.

4. NDT Coordinator

English speaking person to supervise the activities of the contract services, having at Diploma in Engineering Or equivalent.

ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II Certification (or equivalent) in UT, MT, RT & PT methods.

Proficient in Eddy Current Testing, Tube Flux Leakage Testing, Remote visual inspection of Heat Exchanger Tubes, MFL Testing of Storage tank bottom plates, Ultrasonic shear wave examination of welds and Interpretation of Radiographs is essential.

Proficient in Technical Report writing and communication.

Minimum three (3) years' experience in coordination of NDT activities and/or as an NDT Inspector.

NDT personnel with eight (8) years' experience in the Refinery / Petrochemical Industry is essential.

5. NDT Inspector

SENIOR INSPECTOR

ASNT Level- II Certification in RT, UT, MT, PT methods. ASNT Level III Proficient in Eddy Current Testing, Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing, Remote visual inspection of Heat Exchanger Tubes, MFL Testing of Storage tank bottom plates, Ultrasonic shear wave examination of welds and Interpretation of Radiation work permit (Radiographer or Radiation Safety Officer) & monitoring Five (5) years' experience as NDT person in Refinery/ Petrochemical Industry as NDT person in Refinery/ Petrochemical Industry

English speaking experienced NDT Inspector to perform special NDT related jobs, having. at least:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Or equivalent / High School. certification preferable. Radiographs is essential AWS, WI or equivalent certification is desirable. Device from Radiation Protection Department under Ministry Of Health.

NDT INSPECTOR

English speaking experienced NDT Technician having at least:

Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

ASNT (or equivalent) Level-II Certification in UT, RT, PT, and MT methods. Shall be proficient in ultrasonic shear wave examination.

Experience in MFL Testing of tank floor plates of Storage Tanks and Heat Exchanger Tube inspection by Eddy Current/MFL Testing is desirable.

Proficiency in preparing / reading isometric drawings is essential.

Preferable to have three (3) years' experience out of which two (2) years in Refinery or Petrochemical Industry in independently carrying out NDT jobs.

Prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.

NDT Personnel having applicable experience more than 06 years may be considered as NDT Inspector A based on performance.

NDT personnel having applicable experience between 03-06 years shall be considered as NDT Inspector B.

JUNIOR NDT INSPECTOR

English speaking experienced professional Jr. NDT Inspector having at least:

Secondary School Education. Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

ASNT Level-II Certification in Ultrasonic Examination using straight beam probes.

Proficiency in thickness gauging using ultrasonic digital thickness meter.

ASNT Level-II Certification in MT and PT methods.

Three (3) years' experience out of which two (2) years in Refinery/ Petrochemical industry prior work experience in KNPC is preferred.

NDT Personnel having applicable experience more than 5 years may be considered as Jr. NDT Inspector A based on performance.

NDT Personnel having experience between 3 to 5 years shall be considered as Jr. NDT Inspector B.

NDT INSPECTOR LAB

English speaking experienced NDT Inspector Lab having at least:

ASNT Level-II Certification in UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, ET (Eddy Current Testing) methods is mandatory.

Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent / High school.

Proficient in handling NDT Lab Equipment, Calibration, Charging and registration.

ASNT Level-III Certification or equivalent is preferred.

Assisting NDT Inspectors.

Three (3) years' experience as NDT Lab person for diploma and 5 years for High School is essential.

6. Corrosion Inspector

Corrosion Inspectors are assisting Unit Quality Control Engineer /Corrosion to collect data and submit findings for analysis & interpretation by Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion.

English speaking experience Corrosion Inspector to perform Corrosion related jobs, having at least:

Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Chemical/Electrical Engineering Proficient in at least Three of the following activities:

a) Cathodic Protection

b) Painting and Coating activities.

C) Failure Analysis related activities.

d) Water and Chemical Treatment activities.

e) Material and Metallurgy related activities.

NACE Certification or Equivalent is desirable.

Four (4) years' experience as Corrosion person in Refinery/ Petrochemical Industry is essential.

7. COMPUTER OPERATOR

English speaking experienced computer operator having at least:

1. Graduate in any subject / Diploma in Engineering / High school.

2. Diploma certification in computer application (Min. 4 months period0.

3. Five years’ experience as computer operator in technical offices.

4. Computer operator having experience between 5 to 8 for diploma and 5-10 years for high school may be considered as Computer operator B.

8. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

English speaking experienced Data Entry Operator having at least:

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent / High School.

Diploma Certification in Computer Application (Min. 4 months' period).

Three (3) years practical experience in computer data entry

Data Entry Operator having experience more than 06 years for Diploma and 08 years for High School may be considered as Data Entry Operator (A) based on performance.

9. Coating Inspector

Coating Inspectors are assisting the Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion in quality control of protective coating systems applied in Tank Farm, Unit above ground / underground Piping & Cooling Water System. The responsibility includes:

Monitoring & supervising of quality control during painting application.

Collect data/readings of Wet Film thickness, DFT, Paint certificates, mixing ratio etc.

Assisting Quality Control Engineer/Corrosion in conducting performance/ qualification test for blaster and painters.

Ensure that quality materials are used by construction (Garnet, paints, Thinner etc.).

Preparation of painting report and submit to Engineers for review and necessary action.

Maintaining equipment and keeping of records.

Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical) or equivalent or High School with 2 years training from a recognized technical institute Minimum 3 years' experience in the relevant field.

Additional educational qualification – Preferred

i. Basic Corrosion

ii. CIP L1 and 2.

10. DRAUGHTSMAN/CAD B

English speaking experienced draughtsman having at least:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent high school with AUTOCAD (Mechanical) certification.

2. Three (3) years AutoCAD/VISIO drafting experience in preparing piping isometrics and equipment sketches in refinery/petrochemical/ fertilizer industry.

3. A draughtsman having experience more than 08 years for Diploma and 10 years for High School may be considered as Draughtsman (A) based on performance.

4. Draughtsman having experience between 05-08 years for Diploma and 08-10 years for High School shall be considered as Draughtsman (B).
