Overview

PSC Financial Budget and Cost Management addresses a complete overview and good understanding of PSC system. The focus of this program is to construct the detail of program activities, budgeting , and financial authorization of developing upstream oil and gas project in order to ensure project feasibility and efficient resources management.

Objectives

By the end of this training course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the entire process and knowledge of Work Program and Budget and AFE
  • Develop the skills and competencies required to plan and manage project
  • How to construct an oil & gas budget, process and control to maintain the best performance of the company
  • How to develop capital budgets and allocate capital
  • Be able to assist all their Managers much better based on their additional technical and financial tools, and overall added understanding about Oil and Gas industry
  • Gain more confidence to successfully navigate intricacies from technical to economical knowledge of oil and gas PSC, and contribute to the overall effectiveness of their companies effort
  • What are the various financial issues associated with oil & gas project development, execution and operations
  • The participants will have a better knowledge and skills to applied appropriate cost planning & effective cost control
Learning Method

This training uses an interactive and hands-on approach, enabling participants to more easily grasp the material. Experienced instructor delivers the material systematically while participants involve in group discussions to deepen their understanding of the concepts. Futhermore, the training includes simulations and case studies to help participants understand the practical application of concepts in the workplace.
